When he tenses and then Jungkook tenses, Jin's first instinct is to sit up, let the other boy out of his hold. What is Jungkook going to think? Is he going to want to be in such a close embrace? Seokjin's own heart speeds up and he wouldn't cast any blame if Jungkook wanted some distance.

When Jungkook speaks, Jin doesn't move. There's so much longing in his voice that even though he hasn't said anything, it's clear that there's something like that that Jungkook wants from life. Jin doesn't push, just tries to be solid and a friend and nonthreatening.

"You're only the second person I've told," he admits.
