Jungkook glances up after the admission, his expression muted, his chest aching. It's strange to think of Seokjin holding onto fears, grasping onto them perhaps as tightly as Jungkook's ever held onto his own. Logically, he knows that none of the group would hate him for having feelings towards men. Taehyung is as central to their group as anyone else; none of them would consider turning him away for a second.
But even within that safe space, the admission feels like too much. Too risky.
"I'm glad hyung told me," Jungkook says softly, lowering his gaze again, nestling a little deeper against Seokjin. "It sounds nice, hyung. To be able to love whoever you want... have a boyfriend, or a girlfriend. I wish you could have that here, too. I mean you know all of us will still love you. But I wish you could be open about it and not have to worry."
