Yoongi shivers a little at the touch, enjoying just how gentle Jungkook is with him. No one else is like this with him, so soft and sweet and thoughtful, so tender and loving. He brings his hand up to rest at Jungkook's cheek, tugging him closer for another kiss. They haven't had much time together like this, but it's been enough for him to know he'd stay this way forever if he could, just the two of them safe and warm with no one else to tell them what to do or think or feel, no one to hide from, being no one but themselves with all the vulnerability and love that entails.

"Forever," he agrees, voice soft, thumb brushing along the curve of Jungkook's cheek, tracing gently over the small scar there. "I want to spend my life making you happy." It won't always be that easy, he knows. Everything is wonderful now, but even true love can't make the world perfect. Everything beyond the walls of his room is still as it always was, stifling or dangerous or depressing. Happiness won't always be easy, maybe won't even be possible, but he can try. Knowing Jungkook feels the same is the most precious gift he's ever been given.
