It's probably still a little selfish, Jungkook thinks to himself, but it's the kind of selfish that he thinks the both of them can afford a little more often than they have. Early on in the relationship, Jungkook knows that both of their schedules changed a great deal, making far more time for one another and less for the group. But lately, they've fallen back into more of an equilibrium, each one of them spending time with their other friends Yoongi probably spends more time with Seokjin and Hoseok than Jungkook does, and Jungkook's smaller age gap with Taehyung and Jimin has always made those connections easy.
So pulling Yoongi back now feels... well, self-serving.
But Jungkook's okay with it.
"And there's no way you'd rather spend it than with me, huh?" Jungkook asks, smile wide and just a touch smug. "Far away from home, where we can just... be. Feels almost like it's my birthday."
