Jungkook watches Yoongi for a moment, eyes sparkling with mischief, as he squats just a little — just enough to threaten dunking both of them in the water without actually getting anything wet. Fun though it might be under any other circumstances, their change of clothes is too far away and the weather too chilly to manage it without risking a cold, so Jungkook places Yoongi down gently instead, and turns to face the shore.

"It really isn't that bad compared to our other trip to the beach, is it?" Jungkook asks, determinedly avoiding the chatter that threatens to take over his jaw. He reaches for Yoongi's hand, gripping it in his own as he starts to splash his way back to shore. "I mean, that time was a whole month earlier. And not nearly this sunny. And we're further south now than we were then."
