likedriedflowerpetals: [jungkook] (positive) soft boy :( (I'd run away‚ I'd run away with you)

Yoongi huffs out a near-silent laugh, pulling his pants up as he sinks down to the floor in front of Jungkook. He makes out enough of what he's mouthing to guess at the rest, and it would be out of place here if this weren't simultaneously the strangest thing they've done and utterly perfect. A hand resting at Jungkook's cheek, he leans forward to press a kiss to the other cheek and then to his lips. He's so beautiful, a brightness in his eyes, his cheeks flushed; Yoongi wonders briefly if anyone else might guess what they've been up to. He almost wants that. It's not like anyone could prove it anyway, and he's always been so happy with Jungkook, so proud, that he wants people to know how lucky he's been. Strangers suspecting might be as close as he gets to that for some time.

At the end of the day, though, this is all that matters. Deepening the kiss, he brings his hands to rest at Jungkook's waist, pulling him close. "Love you," he murmurs. With the clatter of a child's shoes against the floor, he doubts anyone will hear him, and it needs to be said. No matter how many times he gets to say it, it still feels important. They're so fucking lucky to have each other. He never wants Jungkook to think he's forgotten that, never wants him to feel anything less than appreciated and adored.

This is one of the parts he likes best, the moments when the desire has passed and he gets to be in Jungkook's arms, sated and suffused with love, when nothing else in the world could even begin to matter. They should probably get out of here, but Yoongi doesn't want to move yet. Instead, he brushes his fingertips along Jungkook's stomach, tugging gently at his waistband, an unspoken question.
