"Slimy?" Jungkook asks with a blink of surprise, tilting his head. Maybe he should have guessed as much — plenty of fish at Noryangjin are slimy to the touch, and Jungkook's pretty sure that home aquariums get really slimy when they haven't been cleaned enough. It seems reasonable to think that natural marine environments would have a lot of slime as well.

Intrigued, he steps a little closer to the side of the tank, grasping at the edge of the tank with one hand while he reaches in with the other. Jungkook's fingers hover above the sting ray as he bites at his lower lip, watching the ray's sides flutter through the water. Then, almost as though it senses Jungkook's hesitation, the ray flaps with a bit more strength, raising its buoyancy in the water.

"Oh!" Jungkook exclaims as the ray bumps against his fingertips. Carefully, he strokes along the edge of the ray's wing, then up towards its back. "Whoa. Like... sandpapery, but yeah, slimy too. Whoa."
