Three months isn't an incredibly long amount of time, considering. Most people would argue that Jungkook and Yoongi aren't out of their honeymoon phase yet, that as much of their current attraction may stem from the physical alone as it does from anything deeper. But Jungkook thinks that previous experience isn't necessary for him to be sure about what they have, about how well they suit one another. There are many ways in which Jungkook knows that he's childish his attention often jumps from one topic to another, from one hobby to the next, but with Yoongi, there's only the desire to build towards something greater. Something lasting.
Yoongi makes him hope for forever, and there's nothing that can diminish that for Jungkook.
"Only a few months ago, I thought I was crazy for even wanting you to look my way," Jungkook grins to himself, swinging their hands a little bit higher as they walk. "I still feel like... like I need to do something to really deserve all the love you give me. Ace my exams. Get into a good university. I mean, I'm pretty average."
