likedriedflowerpetals: (neg, neutral) moody but pastel about it (I wish love were perfect as love itself)

Yoongi knows it's stupid and melodramatic, but there are times when he looks at Jungkook and he doesn't understand how the world isn't in love with him. He's beautiful. Physically, but it's more than that, too. Even in the middle of a moment like this, rumpled and aroused, there's a sweetness to him that's irresistible. A purity, somehow. Jungkook is no more an angel than Yoongi is, but he's good in a way Yoongi isn't at all sure he is, and he's pretty sure he's a better person for getting to be close to that.

His heart skips a beat at the sight of him, and then he sees the tear sliding down Jungkook's cheek, and anything he might have done next is forgotten. There's nothing in Jungkook's posture or expression that suggests distress, but still Yoongi surges forward to gather him close, gently brushing a thumb over Jungkook's cheek. "Hi," he murmurs. "Hey. Are you alright? Not too tight still?" There is, admittedly, a small flicker of worry in his chest that he's done something wrong, but he dismisses it. They trust each other for a reason. Jungkook would tell him if there was anything he needed to stop or adjust. Still, even if he's not exactly crying, Yoongi has to be sure. Besides, there's a certain measure of relief in just holding Jungkook again, bodies tangled together so he can keep the younger boy close.
