Even though this topic is far from a gentle one, the feelings Jungkook experiences when Yoongi describes the effect the intimacy had on him are nothing but soft, soft, soft. Even when the both of them are caught in the midst of passion, Jungkook thinks, there's always so much of Yoongi's heart and mind that's reserved for making sure that Jungkook is safe and well. Almost as though Yoongi's own self-preservation depends on Jungkook's well-being.

He's not sure that there's anyone else in the world who's felt similarly about him. Even Jungkook's mother isn't quite that attuned to her son, Jungkook thinks. It takes her a lot to notice when something's wrong with her son, and even more time to wheedle the truth out of him. For Yoongi, it seems intuitive.

So maybe it isn't the worst thing in the world that Jungkook didn't ask when Yoongi placed that hand against his throat.
