"Then I'm not either," Yoongi protests, but he turns around, closing his eyes as the water pours over him. Between the warm water and Jungkook pressed against him, he can't help relaxing further. It's so peaceful here, just the two of them, knowing they don't have to rush before the heat disappears or his father notices. It's just them. And Yoongi could try to wash himself off, could insist on taking care of Jungkook, too, but it feels nice just to let Jungkook take care of him for the moment, his hands running gently over Yoongi's skin. It's been months, and he still marvels at it, awestruck by how content he feels with Jungkook. He'd really thought he'd be sad forever, happiness coming only in brief bursts, and now that feeling seems faraway.
He drops his head forward, enjoying the soft brush of Jungkook's lips against his neck, reaching blindly to find one of Jungkook's hands to cover with his own. "You complete me, too," he murmurs. He's spent too many days feeling empty and lost. It comes and goes, and he knows he's better for having his friends around, even if he still tries to withdraw sometimes. But having Jungkook in his life, loving him like this, he knows he's been happier, that those days have been fewer. He feels steadier, more balanced. And try as he might to discredit himself at times, he can't deny that Jungkook has been happier, too. "We belong together."
