Jungkook can't help but worry about Yoongi, and if he's honest, it's a little easier to focus on Yoongi's well-being right now than it is to think about his own. His own recovery still feels so tenuous they tell him that he'll walk again in time, but it's hard to feel optimistic when even getting into his chair is something that he can't do alone from the bed. Basic things that he wanted to learn, like being able to drive, don't feel like an option any longer.
Or at least, not something he can think about for a few months yet.
"I was afraid you thought I was I was mad after the beach," Jungkook murmurs softly, licking his lips. "Or that I'd run away. I thought that if I couldn't talk to you soon..." Jungkook looks off to the side, his mind easily pulling back to all of the scenarios he'd mentally played through. If their positions were reversed, Jungkook's not sure how he would have fared with so much time apart.
"I was going to go crazy."
He takes a deep breath, slightly calmer than he was towards the start of the call. With a small sniff, he glances down at his lap. "I love you. I really, really love you."
